SAFARI TOUR GAME DRIVES FOR 12 DAYS/12
NIGHTS: LAKE MANYARA / LAKE NATRON/OLDUVAI GORGE / NGORONGORO /SERENGETI / LAKE EYASI / TARANGIRE / CULTURAL TOURISM / ARUSHA PARK.

 

 

Day 01: 
After breakfast, with picnic lunch, drive to Lake Manyara via Maasai village. The Park derives its name from the Maasai word"manyara," which is the name for the plant Euphorbia tirucalli. Lake Manyara National Park is only 330 square kilometers (127 square miles) in area — of which about 230 square kilometers (89 square miles) are lake — it contains a large variety of habitats: the rift wall, the ground water forest, acacia woodland, areas of open grassland, the lake shore, swamp and the lake itself. Due to the variety of habitats the Park is able to support a large number of species. Over 380 species of birds, some migratory, have been recorded in the Park. Game drives in the park till evening. Dinner and overnight at the Luxury Tented Lodge or Serena Hotel/Lodge.


Day 02: 
Wake up Early and start early morning (6.00am) game drives in Lake Manyara, then at 9.00 am have breakfast. After Breakfast drive to Lake Natron. Arrive for Lunch, then do walking safari to enjoy Sun set before having dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Permanent Tented Camp/Lodge.

Day 03: 
Early in the morning you go to the Lake Natron for Sunrise viewing/observation and walk with donkeys to base of Oldonyo Lengai.Then come to the Camp for Lunch. After lunch visit waterfalls, in the evening Depart to Lake Eyasi and arrive to see how these Bushmen are returning to home yards after daily duty. Have Dinner and overnight at Kisimangeda Tented Lodge.

Day 04: 
Visit Lake Eyasi and walk with Bushmen. These are datoga and hadzabe tribes -people who are primitive tribes in Tanzania famously known as Bushmen. Get opportunity to watch Bushmen hunting activity like hunting with arrow and bow. In the evening Depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area (Crater) for Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.


Day 05: 
NGorongoro Crater is the famous Tourist scene and naturalist site declared a World Heritage Site, Man and Biosphere Reserve, and Eighth Wonder of the World. All the BIG FIVE Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more. Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Walking Safaris, trekking from the Crater Rim drive to Olmoti Crater and more.
Hiking to the Crater, walk around, visit Maasai Villages/Bomas, their
activities at Nainokanoka village. When you decide to climb through forest
to the shallow grasy crater, see the beautiful waterfall of the Munge River.
Thereafter drive to Empakai Crater, walk and hike visit Flamingo in the
small lake, continue walking with Armed Ranger Guide, see many wild animals
example giraffe, impala, antelopes, and sometimes you can spot African
hunting dogs. Have dinner and overnight in Luxury Tented Lodge or Serena Hotel/Lodge.

Day 06:

Have half day game drives in Ngorongoro Crater floor, in the evening drive to Serengeti National Park with game drives en route arriving for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 07:
Have full day game drives/wildlife tours in the Park following up Wildebeest migration. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 08:
Have full day game drives/wildlife tours in the Park following up Wildebeest migration. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 9:
Morning game drives until lunch time, after lunch drive to Tarangire National Park arriving for walking safaris and then Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge or Campsite.


Day 10: 
Tarangire National Park covers approximately 2600 square kilometers and, in the dry season, is second only to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area in concentrations of wildlife. Tarangire lies to the south of the large, open grass plains of southern Maasailand, and derives its name from the Tarangire River, which provides permanent water for wildlife in the area. The park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, eland and oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rains when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Do more game drives and then return to Lodge for Overnight.

Day 11:
Full day in Tarangire, for game drives. After lunch drive back to Arusha for overnight in the Hotel.


Day 12:
After breakfast, depart to Arusha National Park with possibilities of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru Views. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel in Aru
